How To Create Your Teacher Site Using Google Sites

Using Google Sites to create and maintain your Teacher Site is easy. These how-to's will take you through the basics of setting up a site, adding assignments using Google Calendar, and customizing the site to fit your needs. The overriding goal with our new teachers sites is to make it easy for parents and students to find assignments and class information. Therefore, we are asking that you stick closely to the default teacher site template. 

 For each subject/prep you are required to:
  1. Have an assignments page with a calendar listing the assignments for that subject/prep. 
  2. Have a resources page for external links or other pertinent information about the subject/prep.
  3. Have a welcome message on your teacher home page.
  4. Edit and fill in the About Me and the Contact Me pages with appropriate information.
If you want to add any additional pages for a subject/prep you should create them as sub-pages under the Resources page or the Class Info & News page (contact Mr. Pickard if you don't know how to do that). Your site should be uncluttered and easy to use for students and parents.
